Hot melt welding method:

 

1) All PVC floor coils should be trimmed at the factory;

 

2) The seam treatment covers the edge of another roll and overlaps 15 mm;

 

3) Install the floor material on the glue and roll the side seam with the hand roller. Roll with 45 kg roller;

 

4) Hot melt welding can only be performed 24 hours after the adhesive is bonded;

 

5) Slotting with slotting machine or hand tool;

 

6) Adjust the temperature to hot air, install the welding tip, heat to make the electrode melt into the tank, the current strength during welding, the length of the wire, and the trial operation on the scrap to adjust to the appropriate temperature will affect the set temperature and speed;

 

7) Use appropriate electrodes according to catalog guidelines;

 

8) Put the electrode into the welding tip, and immediately place the electrode in the slot;

 

9) Hold the welding torch, pay attention to maintain the correct angle is that the welding tip is parallel to the ground material. A good weld should be the welding rod just overflowing the groove edges on both sides. If the overflow is too much, the moving speed is too slow. The correct welding method makes the welding rod fall into the groove and the welding tip will not burn the ground material;

 

10) The electrode must be thoroughly cooled before shoveling;

 

11) After cooling, shovel is divided into two times, the first time the blade is matched with the shovel frame. The second time, the electrode should be flush with the surface of the floor material;

 

12) When the seam is redirected, remove the excess electrode and open a 2 cm long groove at the end of the original electrode. You can start welding from the reverse direction. After covering the slotted part of the original electrode, you can continue to walk about 2 cm.
